Yesterday, the Belmopan Police Formation received a donation from Scotia Bank branch in Belmopan.
Scotiabank donated uniforms to the Voluntary Special Constables program in Belmopan.
Officer Commanding Belmopan Police, Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett said that the program, when fully engaged, will have Special Constables patrolling with fully trained officers to complement existing patrols with the view to continue reducing crime.
Gillett thanked Scotiabank for their generous donation.
