By Zoila Palma: Yesterday, three young Belizean boys departed to Casa Grande, Arizona, USA to participate in the Rush Select 2004/2005 Boys ID Camp.
Keffer Pertau, 12, and Kayia Requena 13 of Belize City,along with Javan Belisle of Roaring Creek left Belize accompanied by their chaperone Ladrick Shepard.
The event, the Rush Select ID Camps, are for the U13 – U15 age groups of 60 boys and 60 girls and there Rush Select staff will train and evaluate them.
Rush Soccer represents over 34,000 youth soccer players in the United States and is in partnerships with clubs in Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, along with North and Central America and the islands of the Caribbean.
The organization is devoted to providing its members with the finest soccer experience possible and to teach the fundamental skills of the game and developing athletes through organized leagues, teams, tournaments, training, coaches and athletic facilities.

The Belizean youths are scheduled to return home on Sunday.
