By BBN Staff: Last night around 7:45, Dangriga police responded to a road traffic accident between miles 11 and 12 on the Southern highway .
On the scene, police officers saw a white Toyota Corolla car extensively damaged on the left hand side of the road.
Police also observed a green John Deere tractor with no visible damages.
The tractor had a trailer attached that was carrying oranges.
The tractor was being driven at the time by Cesar Montenegro, 23, of Hope Creek village.
On the left hand side of the road, Police saw a cream GMC Envoy engulfed in flames .
Police investigations revealed that the Envoy was traveling from Sittee River to Hopkins and was in the process of overtaking the tractor when he collided into the white Toyota Corolla that was traveling in the opposite direction.
The Toyota corolla was driven at the time by Mark Leslie.
Leslie was in the company of his common law wife Myrna Vasquez, 48, of Placencia Village and daughter Aurora Sanchez, 17, who received multiple head and bodily injuries .
All victims were transported to the Southern Regional Hospital.
Leslie and Vasquez were pronounced dead on arrival at the Hospital.
The driver of the white GMS Envoy was Delmar Ortega, 35.
Ortega was accompanied by Maria Ortega, 30, Viancey Ortega, 5, and Sabido Pimentel, 20. Police investigations continue.
