Belmopan taxi man crashes into lamp post and dies

By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 3:15 p.m., Belmopan police responded to a traffic accident on the San Martin road in Belmopan city.

There, police officers saw a silver Toyota Camry taxi at the corner of San Martin and Argentina street collided into a wooden lamp post.

A man was seen lying on the right-hand side of the road with a cut wound to the left side of his chin.

Police investigations revealed that Preston Coleman, 55, taxi driver of Belmopan, was traveling alone when he lost control of his vehicle and collided into the lamp post, which caused the fatal injuries.

 Police are investigating.
