Mexican Embassy honors Garifuna Culture

By BBN Staff: The Embassy of Mexico in Belize, in collaboration with the National Garifuna Council, Belize City branch, will celebrate the Garifuna Settlement Day 2017 tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Belize City.

The following activities will take place to commemorate this important occasion:Award Ceremony celebrating Belizeans who have supported Garifuna Culture in  2017.

Lecture/Conference on the history of the Garifuna Settlement Day Festivities by Professor Sebastian Cayetano, Director of the LUBA Garifuna Museum of Belize City.
