Thatch building valued at over $100K catches fire in Seine Bight

By BBN Staff: On Wednesday evening around 3,  Seine Bight and Placencia police visited the Palacio`s Temple located on the main road in Seine Bight Village, where a thatch building was engulfed in flames.

The building measuring 100 ft x 40 ft  was completely destroyed and valued at around $110,000 which was not insured.

 The cause of the fire is undetermined.

The building is owned by Mary Palacio, a Belizean-American of Seine Bight Village who resides in U.S.A.

 Police investigation continues.
