By BBN Staff: Yesterday, a video was posted on social media that shows 2 women walking on King’s Street, Belize City and 2 men on bicycles snatching their purses.
The incident occurred on Monday night and the surveillance was captured from the Mikado building.
According to reports, the two victims robbed are tourists. A report from 7 news states that the tourists were returning from getting food at New Fortune Restaurant.
The culprits made away with the tourists purses, cash, and keys of their hotel rooms. The tourists left for the Cayes yesterday morning saying that they were terrified of Belize City.
Both women are US Nationals.
