By BBN Staff: Following Prime Minister Dean Barrow’s return to the country on Monday, Cabinet met in Belmopan yesterday and according to reports, decided that it would vote unanimously against paying $90 million to the Belize Bank for the secret agreement made for Universal Health Services (UHS) under the Said Musa PUP administration, according to a report from Channel 7 News.

Cabinet met to discuss the ruling handed down by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) last week in favor of the Belize Bank. After the ruling, several high ranking UDP ministers spoke out publicly declaring they would not support the motion to pay the $90 million award.
