Happening Now: PM Barrow Press Conference underway

BBN Staff: Prime Minister Dean Barrow is hosting a press conference at the Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza, to address the Government’s position on the $90 million arbitration award resulting from the Universal Health Services guarantee.

Minister Godwin Hulse is the first speaker, detailing the genesis of the UHS guarantee, while Minister of State, Dr. Carla Barnett, will follow up with additional details.

The Prime Minister is expected to close the conference  by explaining GOB’s next move.
