Police issues official report on human head found in Cotton Tree

By BBN Staff: This morning around 6:10, Belmopan Police received information of a decapitated human head at a bus stop in Cotton Tree Village, Cayo District.

Police arrived at the scene and saw the human head under a bus stop.

Officers made checks at the house of the deceased about quarter of a mile from the bus stop, where they observed an unpainted bungalow cement structure on fire.

About 20 yards behind the burning house, they found a body of a brown  complexion  male person without head.

The body was observed with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was later identified as Hilton Wayne Wade, 56, a  Belizean laborer of Cotton Tree Village.

The body was transported to the Western Regional Hospital where it awaits a postmortem Examination.

 Police investigation continues.
