By BBN Staff: Yesterday ambassador, musician and icon, Andy Palacio, would have celebrated his 57th birthday.
Nevertheless, he was honored by the National Garifuna Council which held masses across the country yesterday.
Palacio was born on December 2, 1960 but passed away in January 2008 from a severe stroke.
He was a teacher turned musician who received a plethora of awards and international recognition for his contributions to the Garinagu’s identity and culture.
