By BBN Staff: Yesterday, a 45 year old Belizean businesswoman of Belize City reported to police that about 10:30 a.m. she was at her apartment building in Fuller’s Alley, where she had just received some money.
The woman told police that a few minutes after receiving the cash, 4 men assaulted her and stole her money.
Police responded to the report where the suspects were stopped on Tigris Street and during the process of searching the vehicles, one of the suspects escaped by jumping a zinc fence.
The suspect received a cut wound to his arm.
Three persons are currently detained and police investigations continue.
