By BBN Staff: Last night around 7:55, police visited No. 28 Corner Iguana and George Frazer Sr. Street, Belize City where on arrival they observed a wooden house measuring about 20 by 25 feet engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department.
The house and its contents were not insured and the value is yet to be ascertained.
Initial investigation revealed that at around 7:50 pm, residents observed smoke coming from the house and as a result called authorities.
The owner of the building is Lisa Louriano who resides in Placencia.
Police are investigating.
