By BBN Staff: Tomorrow, the Belize Infrastructure Limited (BIL) will be hosting an open day at the Belize City Civic Center, as the completion of works nears.

Deputy Prime Minister, Patrick Faber, will join BIL at a press conference at the facility, to update the media on the full scope of works that have been completed, as well as on the projected completion date.

The public is invited to the event, to enjoy half-hour tours of the state of the art facility, led by the project team.

There are four tours scheduled for the open day: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and, 3 p.m.

The almost completed Civic Center features: An air-conditioned interior with a seating capacity of 4,500; a FIBA standard wooden main court similar to NBA courts, and three practice courts; a centralised scoreboard, and shot clocks for each of the six backboards; and offices, media boxes and multiple locker rooms.
