By BBN Staff: The Public Service Union (PSU), in a statement released yesterday, took aim at the Auditor General, Dorothy Bradley, calling her out for what the union describes as “dastardly administrative practices”.
Prime Minister Dean Barrow had recently addressed complaints being made against Bradley by members of her staff saying he was aware of the situation.
The PSU said it has spent two years addressing complaints about the Auditor General, ranging from eroding the performance appraisal system to falsely accusing fellow officers before police and misleading the Public Services Commission.
The union is demanding an independent investigation into the degree of mistreatment of complaining officers. The statement added it is time for the Ministry of the Public Service to stop being ‘complicit’ in the condoning of infractions of the Public Service Regulations and policies governing public officers.
The PSU also claims officers have been overlooked for vacant posts because they clash with the Auditor General’s management style and says it condemns her attempts to place malice against her own colleagues.
