By BBN Staff: Mark Anthony Vasquez was stabbed to death over the weekend on Marine Parade Boulevard in Belize City.

The prime suspect, Osbaldo Nieto, who is believed to have inflicted the wound was also injured.

Police say that he has since been treated by the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. However, he has been released by police as investigations remain ongoing.

Police say his file has been sent to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution for review.
