Drunken man stabbed this morning

BBN Staff:A man who police presumed to be under the influence of alcohol was stabbed near his heart this morning.

Police reported that at about 5:35 am they received information  of a man in a yard on Carmen St in Santa Elena Town.

Police responded and found one Abdale Castillo, 28, with a stab wound to the upper left side of his chest.

Castillo, a resident of Santa Elena, refused to  cooperate with the police.

He was transported to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and is presently being treated.

He is listed in stable condition.
