Man charged for firearm related offences

By BBN Staff: A man charged with firearm related offences over the weekend will spend the remainder of the year in prison.

Police reported that on Christmas Eve at about  3:10am while working special duty at  a business establishment  in Benque Viejo Town a man identified as Edgar Giovanni Del Lao,33 of , Benque Viejo Town pulled out a  firearm at another man.

Del Lao then got into a gray Toyota Hilux pickup upon seeing police and drove off.

Police intercepted him during which he handed over a black 9mm Glock 19 pistol.

He was subsequently charged for the offence of ‘kept firearm without a gun license and aggravated assault.’
