By BBN Staff: Last night, Orange Walk police visited the home of Diana Mai, 37, of the Philip Goldson highway in Trial Farm village, Orange Walk district.
Mai told police that around 7:30, a Hispanic man was standing in front of her house with a machete threatening her.
The person is known to Mai as Catelino Urizar.
Urizar then reportedly set fire to the left corner of Mai’s concrete bungalow house.
The value of the damage is yet to be ascertained.
Police have detained Urizar, 34, pending charges for arson.
Police are investigating.
