Thieves get away with almost $14,000 in household items

BBN Staff: On Friday, December 29, Nelberth Flowers, 41, of Banak Street, Belize City reported that between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. his apartment was burglarized.

Flowers told police that a number of assorted jewelries and other personal belongings amounting to $13,710 were stolen.

Police are investigating.
