By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service is reporting that a cold front is passing over Belize today.
The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy and windy skies with a few showers and periods of light rain mostly over the sea, southern and coastal areas.
The wind will blow from the North to Northwest at 10 to 20 knots with gusty winds
The sea state will be moderate to rough.
A small craft warning is in effect for coastal areas of Belize.
High temperatures are expected as follows: in the coast, 80 degrees Fahrenheit; 80 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 68 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 64 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills, 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
The extended forecast for Wednesday and Wednesday night is for cloudy and cool conditions to continue mostly over sea and southern areas.
