Evangelical Association of Belize issues statement for 2018 and Jerusalem

By BBN Staff: The National Evangelical Association of Belize (NEAB) extends New Year blessings to all Belizeans, after a wonderful Christmas season.

According to a statement issued today, NEAB says that as the murder rate for 2017 has tied the 2012 highest ever record, they urge all Belizeans to live vigilant, sober lives guarding their children and families, and to pray for God to heal the nation.

NEAB also expressed its disappointment with the decision of Government and the Opposition in supporting the UN Resolution to condemn the recognition of Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel, contradicting 3000+ years of recorded history.

“We stand with Israel, in addition to recognizing the need for amicable & respectful solutions for regional disputes.  We will be reaching out to Israel to convey our support,” NEAB stated in their release.

The statement was signed and submitted by NEAB President, Rev. Lance Lewis.
