Minor knocks down woman in Guinea Grass village

By BBN Staff:  Last night around 9, police responded to a report of a traffic accident at the entrance of Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District.

Police investigation revealed that a 16 year old minor of Guinea Grass Village was driving a red Isuzu pick-up when he knocked down 28 year old Shakira Guadalupe Villanueva as she was crossing the highway.

Villanueva sustained body injuries and was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital. She was later transported to the KHMH in a critical condition.

Police investigation continues.
