Gun, ammunition and weed found in San Pedro

BBN Staff: Today a joint operation was conducted by members from the Special Branch, Gang Suppression Unit and Special Patrol Unit in San Pedro.

The units searched an abandoned lot in the San Mateo area which resulted in the discovery of a 12 gauge pump action shot gun and three (3) 12 gauge cartridges.

A further search of the area resulted in the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 98.3 grams of cannabis.

No one was in the area and so all the items were labeled and deposited as found property.
