“Bullet’s” victim not mentally challenged says police

BBN Staff: In a police press conference held in Belize City today, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Alejandro Cowo, expressed that the 16 year old boy found nude in a hotel room with Roy “Bullet” Craig, was not mentally challenged.

“He is not a mentally challenged person,” said Cowo.

Cowo provided the clarification after “Bullet” conducted an interview in which he discounted the teen’s mental competence and referred to him as “semi unbalanced.”

On the night of January 4th, “Bullet” was found nude with the boy inside room 30 at Honey’s Hotel on Coney Drive in Belize City.

As a result, he was charged and arraigned for sexual assault and released on bail.
