By BBN Staff; According to police reports, yesterday morning around 12:45, police responded to a report of a fire on Glenn Street.
There, officers saw an unpainted two-story wooden house with zinc roofing at #12 Glenn Street engulfed in flames.
The fire later spread to an adjacent yellow two-story wooden house rented by Justo Miranda, 42.
The fire then also spread to another green two-story wooden house with zinc roofing belonging to Rutigo Villanueva, 49.
The Fire Department personnel extinguished the fire.
Police investigations revealed that yesterday morning while Miranda was at home sleeping, he was awakened by the smell of smoke.
When he made checks, he saw an abandoned house belonging to Hipolito Bautista on fire.
All three houses were completely destroyed by the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The value of the buildings and properties have not yet been ascertained.
The houses were not insured and no-one was injured.
Police investigations continue.
