By BBN Staff: Edgar Loria, 30, a salesman of Ranchito, Corozal reported to police that around 10:35 yesterday morning, he was driving a white Nissan frontier pickup along 7th Avenue in Corozal town toward Belize Bank when a black Astro Van without license plates drove up beside him and a passenger in the van ordered him to stop.
Loria said that he pulled to the side of the road and the van pulled up next to him.
A dark complexion man wearing a ski mask and armed with a gun came out of the van and demanded money.
Loria handed over a green deposit bag containing $5,751 in cash.
Police are investigating.
