Belize City security officer arrested for gun and ammo without license

By BBN Staff:  Yesterday morning, police were conducting a mobile patrol on Commerce Street, Dangriga where officers conducted a search on Charles Nolberto Jr., 23, a Belizean security officer of  Belize City.

Nolberto had in his possession 1-9 mm Taurus brand pistol without a serial number and 1-  9 mm Aguila brand ammunition.

Police also found a 9mm magazine and(9) live rounds on him.

Nolberto was arrested and charged for the offence of ‘kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license.’
