Residents request streetlights between Georgetown and Maya Mopan

By BBN Staff: According to some residents from Maya Mopan and Georgetown villages in the Stann Creek district, there is a stretch of road between the two villages in need of urgent attention.

Residents say that the road is dark and there are no street lights.

Commuters use the road to travel to work and there have been several reports of robberies along the road.

Villagers of both communities are concerned about the increase in robberies and are asking the authorities to look into this situation.
