The family says that they returned the call but it went straight to voicemail.

Villanueva’s mom and other relatives are joining officials today in the search for Villanueva and park manager, Luis Ramirez.

The government of Belize has deployed members of the Belize Defense Force and other relevant authorities for an intensified search inside the Chiquibul Forest Reserve today to locate the two rangers.

The men went missing on Monday evening after going out for a routine check at the Caracol Archeological Reserve where they were stationed.
