By BBN Staff: Seatrade Cruise News is reporting that a Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship rescued two sailors off the coast of Belize last Tuesday evening.
According to the report, a 42-foot Larwin sailboat sent out a distress signal because it was taking in water.
The NCL ship responded to the signal and proceeded to rescue two sailors on the sailboat.
The Norwegian Getaway took about one hour to reach the sailboat and had seven crew members rescue the two sailors.
The NCL ship was on a 7-day Caribbean cruise. It departed Miami on January 28.
