New President of ‘Our Circle’ hails from San Ignacio, Cayo

BBN Staff: Today ‘Our Circle’, an LGBT-centered organization, welcomed its new president, Joshua George Munoz, a San Ignacio native.

Munoz has previously served on the Board of Directors as Vice President.

The statement issued by the organization says that Munoz understands the numerous complexities of, and the many challenges faced by LGBT persons and families in Belize.

“ Having a support network and resources in place has been vital in operating Our Circle. With this in mind, he plans to further expand and develop Our Circle’s programs and is excited and grateful to work with a talented team of volunteers and Board of Directors and serve those involved,” it explains.

Munoz has a a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Belize.

He has been gainfully employed in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation for the past 3 years.

 

The organization thanks all members for their support to Derricia Castillo-Salazar and her team, and says that it hopes to achieve the same level of support, or more, for Munoz and his team.
