FFB gets new technical director

BBN Staff: It went below the media’s radar last Friday but President of the Football Federation of Belize (FFB), Sergio Chuc, held a farewell ceremony for outgoin Technical Director, Renan Couoh.

During the ceremony, Chuc thanked Couoh for his decade of service to the federation which had added to the development of football in Belize.

Couoh was awarded a plaque and a bag of footballs to assist with his new program at the Warriors Football Academy.

President Chuc assured him the support for his program would be continued.

Couoh has been succeeded by Phillip Marin effective February 1.

Marin, since taking up his new position, rolled out plans for grassroots football, youth football, women’s football, futsal and beach soccer, as well as coaching education.
