National Council on Ageing Celebrates 15th Anniversary

By BBN Staff: On Saturday, February 10, 2018, the National Council on Ageing (NCA) will be celebrating 15 years of service.

On February 10, 2003, NCA officially opened its doors in Belmopan and began to serve Belize.

The NCA began educating citizens on the issues facing older persons and advocating for the rights and services for older Belizeans.

In celebration of their 15th anniversary, the NCA is hosting a one-day informational exhibit tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m.

This exhibit is designed to not only highlight the achievements of the council but to engage citizens in learning about ageing and its issues affecting Belizeans.

Local schools, businesses, and the entire Belmopan Community are invited to visit the exhibit and learn about growing older in Belize.
