By BBN Staff: The Nominating Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), a not-for-profit organization which focuses on growth through job creation and expansion, has elected Belizean born Clarence Hulse to its Board of Directors for a two-year term.
The IEDC selected Hulse, who is also the Executive Director of Economic Development Corporation in Michigan City, Indiana, at its annual conference held in September 2017. His tenor began in January 2018 and he will be working with the IEDC’s over 5,000 members for the advancement of the various communities which the organization serves.
Hulse’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Sciences Degree from Harding University and a Masters of Sciences in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
The IEDC is the largest organization of its kind, made up of economic developers who promote economic well-being and quality of life for their communities, by creating, retaining, and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth, and provide a stable tax base.
