Taxi driver shot in Belize city

By BBN Staff: Reginald Garoy, 35, a taxi driver of a George street address in Belize city was shot last night while driving his cab.

According to police, Garoy was along with another person in his car on East Canal when a gunman approached and opened fire.

Garoy was shot to the right side of the cheek and right ring finger. He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

Police investigations continue.
