Proxy applications notice for public officers

By BBN Staff: On Friday, the Elections and Boundaries department issued a release informing that qualified public officers are encouraged to apply to vote by proxy on or before February 28, 2018.

In accordance with the regulations 69:01 of city and town council regulations, the following public officers are qualified to vote by proxy:

Persons acting as election officers in some other polling station.

Persons employed in transporting or in any other manner assisting an Election officer in some other polling station

Officers must submit fully completed forms 14 and 15 and submit to the Elections and Boundaries department.

Once the information is verified for accuracy, form 14 will be returned to the officer for voting as proxy.
