Victim of fatal hit and run not yet identified

By BBN Staff: Last night around 7, police went to an area between Esperanza Village and Central Farm where a man of Hispanic descent was seen lying motionless on the left hand side of the road.

Police investigation revealed that the man was walking from the direction of Central Farm towards Esperanza Village when he was hit by a vehicle that was travelling in the same direction.

The man sustained severe head and bodily injuries and has not yet been identified.

The vehicle involved in the accident did not stop to render aid to the victim.

Police are investigating.
