2 men shot in Belize City, 1 in critical condition

By BBN Staff: Last night around 10:20, authorities visited the KHMH in Belize City where they saw Emerson Garnett, 29, suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower left side of his chest and Houston Apolonio, 35, suffering from a gunshot graze to his left shoulder.

Police investigation revealed that about 10:15 PM, Apolonio, Garnett, and some other friends were socializing on Police Street when two male persons approached them and one of them pointed a black firearm in their direction and fired several shots causing their injuries.

Apolonio was treated and released, however Garnett is in a critical condition.

Police are investigating.
