Business woman robbed at gunpoint in Corozal

Police in Corozal are investigating an armed robbery that happened yesterday evening around 5.

According to reports, Qiao Hong Li, 30, was at her business place named Ban’s Store located on Santa Rita Road when three male persons entered her establishment – two of the men were armed with what appeared to be fire-arms.

The men demanded money so one of them took $800 from the cash-draw, a pink Iphone 6 valued at $1400, and 4 cartons of assorted cigarettes valued at $360. All to a total value of $2,560.

Police are investigating.
