Police: 2 houses destroyed by fire in Belize City last night

BY BBN Staff: Last night around 7:50, authorities visited Fredrick Alley where they observed an unpainted two story wooden structure belonging to Michael Rosado totally engulfed in flames.

According to police reports, the fire expanded and damaged another unpainted two story structure belonging to Agatha Gonzales, 63,.

The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Belize National Fire Services, however the 2 story structure belonging to Rosado was destroyed by the fire and the entire upper flat of the structure belonging to Gonzales was also destroyed.

The value of the damages are yet to be ascertained. 

The structure belonging to Gonzales was not insured and it is unknown if the structure belonging to Rosado was insured.

The cause of the fire has not been determined as the investigation by the Fire Department in ongoing.
