17-month-old baby raped in Belize still alive

BBN Staff: BBN has confirmed that the 17 month old baby, victim of a horrific rape is still alive; contrary to reports on other media outlets that reported earlier that the baby had succumbed.  However, the prognosis of the infant is reportedly dire.

Reports is that the infant was vaginally and anally raped by someone known to her family.

Social media has been exploding since news of the horrendous occurrence became known.

Belizeans are expressing their disgust and anger at the incident.

Pictures of the alleged perpetrator is also circulating on social media.
