Businesswoman robbed of $20,000

By BBN Staff: Yesterday evening around 5:55, police visited Golden Bay Limited at Marine Parade  in Belize City where Rong Xiao, 27, a businesswoman reported that about 5:50 p.m., upon her arrival at Golden Bay along with three co-workers, she was approached by a man who pulled out a black gun.

Xiao told police that the man hit her to the left side of the head causing a cut wound.

The culprit then forcefully took away her yellow Michael Kors purse which had the day sale from the Tourist Village.

The purse had $10,000.00US in different denomination.

Police are investigating.
