Police: Man, 21, shot in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Last night around 8, police went to the KHMH and saw Aaron Avilez, 21, a Belizean pump attendant of Belize City suffering from several gunshot wounds to the body.

Police investigations revealed that around 7:30 p.m., whilst Avilez was exiting a barber shop on North Front Street, a man came up to him, pointed a 9mm gun and fired several shots at him.

Avilez was transported to the K.H.M.H. where he was admitted in a stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
