San Ignacio man shot in orchard

BBN Staff: Yesterday evening around 5:00,  San Ignacio police responded to a report of a shooting incident in an area on Bullet Tree Road, San Ignacio town.

There, police saw Ruben Arnold, 46,  suffering from three gunshot wounds to the back of the neck and two to the left elbow.

Police investigations revealed that Arnold was picking oranges in an orchard when he was shot by a man.

Arnold was transported to the San Ignacio Town Hospital and later to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was admitted in a stable condition.

Police are investigating.
