Tarique Francis shot on Sunday

BBN Staff: Tarique Francis, 18, is lucky to be alive after a gunman tried to shoot and kill him around 10:55 p.m. on Sunday.

Francis was heading home on Jones street when an armed assailant opened fire on him.

He was shot to his right wrist. He was later treated and released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Police have since detained several persons pending investigation.
