Orange Walk boy knocked out then ran over by cane truck

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, BBN received a video showing a boy walking along a street in Orange Walk who was jumped by a group of others, knocked out on the street and then ran over by a cane truck but he miraculously survived.

The 16-year-old boy was reportedly walking home when he was attacked by a man who punched him in the face. The man then ran away leaving the boy lying in the middle of the road.

As the boy was trying to get up, a cane truck passed and ran him over. The truck driver did not stop to render any assistance. The video also shows a witness who saw the entire ordeal riding away from the boy without offering help.

The boy sustained major injuries but is listed in a stable condition.

Police are yet to charge anyone for this incident.
