Six Belizeans shot, 4 dead in less than 24 hours

BBN Staff: Early this morning, well known Ghost Town associate, Kendis Flowers was shot and killed on Mahogany Street in Belize City.

Within 24 hours after the fatal shooting of Flowers, Belize City police are dealing with three (3) separate shooting incidents in the city’s underworld.

The second incident occurred around 5:30 this evening. A man was shot to the chest on Gibnut street and is listed in a critical condition.

Two (2) women and a 16 year old minor were shot on Tibruce Street shortly after 7 p.m.

The women, including a 62 year old, died and the minor is receiving medical treatment at the KHMH.

Then just before 9 tonight a barrage of bullets rang out on Nargusta Street injuring a male person.

He is the City’s 6th shooting victim and BBN was informed that he just died.

Credible information to BBN is that there is a major gang war underway in the city involving three (3) rival gangs.
