By BBN Staff: Microsoft, in collaboration with the Central Information Technology Office (CITO), will be visiting Belize from March 20 to March 22, to conduct a 3-day introduction session to Microsoft’s Office 365 to public officers.
This training is as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Microsoft and the Government of Belize in June of last year.
The partnership reinforces Government of Belize’s effort in improving the skills of public officers by adopting the latest technology that can lead to national development.
CITO is working to provide public officers access to training and support of Microsoft Office 365, to bring them a solution for best-in class productivity and collaboration among government offices countrywide.
Various training sessions will be conducted throughout the 3-day visit, with the objective of building a team of champions and enablers of Office 365 within the public service.
Sessions are scheduled for Wednesday March 21 in Belmopan and Thursday March 22 in Belize City and Belmopan.
Public officers are invited to the training sessions.
Other training sessions will also be conducted through CITO for those who are unable to attend this week’s training.
Public Officers interested in taking part, can submit their information to their respective department’s point of contact or email [email protected].
