Police issues official report on Honduran national killed in Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: Last night around 9:05, police visited Chan Pine Ridge Road in Orange Walk District and saw a white GEO Prism car with Orange Walk Taxi license plates  parked  on the side of the road.

On the back passenger seat, police found the motionless body of a  hispanic man identified as Elmer Alexi Palma Arzu, 27, Honduran, Taxi Driver of East San Martin Street, Orange Walk District.

Arzu’s body was seen with multiple gunshot wounds.

Initial investigation revealed around 8:30p.m., a resident found the body of Arzu.

The body was transported to the Orange Walk Northern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body now awaits a post mortem examination.

Police are investigating.
